Laboratory Diagnosis of Plant Pests

This service authorizes licensed laboratories to provide identification and diagnostic services for plant pests, including insect pests, mites, and other diseases affecting plants, in accordance with the controls and requirements of the service delivery manual approved by the Weqaa Center.

  • The applicant for prequalification must be a Saudi legal entity or a foreign investor holding a license to commence operations in accordance with the Kingdom’s Foreign Investment Law and its implementing regulations.
  • The applicant’s record must be free of any violations or outstanding financial obligations owed to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture or the Weqaa Center.
  • The applicant must undertake to comply with the instructions and requirements related to the qualification process.
