About the Sector
The Planning and Business Development Sector at Weqaa Center seeks to advance the Center’s activities through the development of strategic and operational plans, achieving quality and institutional excellence standards, and strengthening partnerships between the Center and external entities. The Sector also develops business models to ensure high-quality service delivery for beneficiaries and analyzes data to support decision-making processes.
Sector Objectives
Preparing the center’s strategic and operational plans, reviewing and evaluating them periodically in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.
Developing and implementing business development models that positively contribute to improving the center’s control and prevention activities.
Developing mechanisms and procedures for licensing plant health and animal health service providers in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
Implementation of knowledge management and change management plans, and periodic evaluation of their effectiveness to ensure the quality of the change process.
Review and monitor the implementation of initiatives and performance indicators to ensure targets are achieved, and oversee the execution of strategic projects.
Deliver high-quality services to beneficiaries by providing all necessary resources and raising satisfaction levels.
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of supply processes, ensuring continuity with high quality, through building and governing strong and sustainable relationships with contractors, suppliers, or vendors, while promoting joint cooperation and achieving the best added value for the Center.
Contribute to the establishment and qualification of nonprofit organizations, delegate services to them, evaluate their work, and develop plans and programs for volunteer activities.
Evaluate the Center’s performance at the strategic level on a regular basis.
Strengthen and activate partnerships and agreements signed between the Center and external entities.
Govern and unify all data at the Center, analyzing and utilizing it to support decision-making.
Develop systems and standards for performance indicators and quality control tools related to total quality at the Center.
Identifying the center’s quality and institutional excellence requirements and standards in accordance with local and international models.
Building and developing relationships with various government entities and identifying strategic partners.
Preparing the center’s annual statistical reports.
