About the Sector
The Operations Sector at Weqaa Center seeks to achieve the Center’s objectives related to managing technical activities at Weqaa branches across the Kingdom. It oversees communication with branches through clear methodologies, adopts a continuous performance evaluation approach, sets standards, requirements, and regulations for establishing and operating plant and animal health laboratories, and supervises the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of inspection and control activities.

Ensure the achievement of the Center’s institutional objectives across branches and the services they provide.
Ensure the stability and quality of laboratory operations in line with approved standards and procedures.
Ensure governance and operational efficiency of Weqaa Center’s activities across all sectors and branches.
Strengthen emergency and crisis response capabilities and improve recovery speed.
Ensure effective oversight and monitoring of branch performance and identify areas for continuous development and improvement.
Build an advanced and effective inspection and monitoring system at the national level.
