Palm Tree Transportation

This service authorizes the licensee to transport palm trees between different locations pursuant to an approved permit and in accordance with specified technical and health requirements—including inspection, treatment, and documentation—to prevent the transmission of agricultural pests and safeguard plant health, in accordance with the controls and requirements of the service delivery manual approved by the Weqaa Center.

  • The applicant for prequalification must be a Saudi legal entity or a foreign investor holding a license to commence business activities in accordance with the Foreign Investment Law and its implementing regulations in the Kingdom.
  • The applicant’s record must be free from any violations or outstanding financial obligations owed to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture or the Weqaa Center.
  • The applicant shall undertake to comply with the instructions and requirements of the prequalification process.
