Integrated Management of Red Palm Weevil

This service authorizes the licensee to provide detection and treatment services for the Red Palm Weevil. This includes the use of various pest detection methods and the treatment of infested palm trees through injection, scraping, and modern technologies. It does not include control using fumigation with a restricted pesticide or detection using live methods, as these services require additional qualification and licensing, in accordance with the controls and requirements of the service delivery manual approved by the Weqaa Center.

  • The applicant for qualification must be a legally recognized Saudi national or a foreign investor with a valid license to commence operations, in accordance with the Foreign Investment Law and its regulations in the Kingdom.
  • The applicant's record must be free from any violations or outstanding financial obligations to the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, or Waqqa Center.
  • The applicant must commit to complying with all relevant qualification regulations and requirements.
