On Wednesday 6 November 2024, In Aseer Province, Weqaa Center has held a meeting for the animal wealth breeders on " Weqaa Center Role for Animal Health Enhancement"; within the activities of " Up Close Program". This program has been established in order for enhancing the continuous communication with the Weqaa Center services' beneficiaries. The purpose of this meeting is: • To improve and develop the veterinary services. • To achieve the highest level of satisfaction for beneficiaries. • To enhance the plant health in all over the regions of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This undoubtedly will reflect positively the sustainability of agricultural sectors and contributing in the national food security. During the meeting, Chief Animal Health Sector Officer Dr. Sanad Al Harbi has indicated to the Weqaa Center's role in enhancing the animal health and its services to cover the demand of beneficiaries, and to achieve their aspirations.

He has also emphasized the importance of effective communication with Weqaa Center relevant management in order to implement its objectives through preventing and controlling the epidemic animal diseases risks "recent or boundary diseases", and protecting the animal wealth in KSA; according to the One Health. Dr. Sanad has also visited Aseer Weqaa Center Branch and the animal wealth projects.
