In Riyadh, Weqaa Center President & CEO Eng. Aymen S. Al Ghamdi has held a coordination meeting with the CEO of National Center for Environmental Compliance; within the corporate efforts between Both Sides. The purpose is to enhance the cooperation, integration, and actions continuity in the fields that are related to protecting and monitoring public health, animal and plant health, environmental safety, and agricultural activities. Both Sides have discussed several topics which support the corporate cooperation:

• Enhancing integration and coordination in the relevant fields. • Unifying the national efforts to achieve the highest level of efficiency. • Strengthening the protection of plant, animal and environmental health. • The corporate plan and the mechanism of developing field actions through inspection visits and field monitoring. • The methods of Safe disposal of waste and residues to control their negative impacts on environment and health. • The enhancement of campaigns to promote the culture of environmental health among farmers and workers in the agricultural sector. • The enhancement of environmental governance to achieve the national strategic objectives; in order to control risks to humans, animals, and plants.
