Weqaa Center Delegation, led by Chief Operation Sector Officer have visited King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST); with a view to discussing the cooperation ways between Weqaa Center and KAUST in order for enhancing Weqaa Center's efforts with regard to:

• Taking preventative and therapeutic actions to keep the plant and animal healthy and sustainable. • Developing the scientific and technical possibilities that can support protecting the agricultural sector. • Achieving the integration with the Research Sides through acquiring the experiences of recent techniques. • Supporting innovations and developing effective solutions that can contribute to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 Objectives in the field of agricultural sector.

The visit has included a tour inside the University to get acquainted with:

• Advanced research laboratories and centers. • Latest techniques and standard specifications applied for diagnosing the plant pests and animal diseases. • Specialists to exchange the scientific and technical knowledge and experiences.
