Today, in Al Qassim Province, within the Plant Health Knowledge Forum Activities, under the slogan of " Palm Trees are Wealth & Development- Sustainable Management of Palm Trees & Dates ", Weqaa Center, represented by Chief Operations Sector Officer Mr. Fahad Naser Abo Khalil, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Ajal Laboratories, represented by Chief Executive Officer Eng. Mousa Mohammed Al Harbi; in order to enhance the cooperation in the field of laboratory diagnosis and to develop the technological capacities and innovations. The purpose of this memorandum is to: • Raise the laboratory services quality through developing and assessing the veterinary kits. • Exchange knowledge and experiences to develop skills and improve efficiencies. • Provide the technical and consulting services. • Cooperate in the field of scientific researches and laboratory innovations. On the other hand, Weqaa Center, represented by Chief Planning & Development Ms. Sehab Omar Al Flaij, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Federation of Saudi Chambers, represented by Unaizah Chamber President Khaled Mohammed Alsaikhan. Actually, signing this memorandum is an announce of establishing a strategic partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers in order to boost collaboration in the field of animal and plant health through: • Recruiting the global companies. • Exchanging studies and experiences. • Supporting innovations, training and awareness. Certainly, these activities are within Weqaa Center's efforts aiming to strengthen the strategic partnerships with private sector and to develop the national capacities which contribute to supporting the health and agriculture security to achieve the Kingdom Vision 2030 objectives.
