In Jeddah, Weqaa Center has held the Executive Commission meeting of Near East Plant Protection Organization (NEPPO); which is concluded today Monday 16 December 2024. Actually, this meeting is emphasizing the vital role which is played by Weqaa Center to enhance the regional cooperation for preventing and controlling plant pests.​

This meeting aims to:​

• Discuss the effective strategies for controlling risks of plant pests. • Protect the sustainability of food security in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Enhance the coordination between Member Countries. • Exchange the knowledge and experiences that contribute to developing effective solutions for combating the challenges related to the agricultural pests. ​
