In Al Qassim Province, Buraydah, Weqaa Center has held an awareness workshop on" " Diseases Vectors Risk Prevention " with the participation of breeders who are interested with animal health. The workshop aims to: • Focus on the importance of preventing and controlling the diseases vectors in order to protect the public health. • Enable beneficiaries to realize the factors of risk related to spread of diseases vectors. • Learn methods which control the disease vectors. • Enhance awareness of the diseases vectors' risk which transmit diseases from animal to human. • Highlight the necessity of applying the biosecurity measures. • Discuss ways of cooperation between breeders and Official Sides to achieve high level of prevention. Certainly, this activity is within Weqaa Center's efforts aiming to raise awareness and education in all over the regions of the Kingdom in accordance with the Saudi Vision2030 objective towards achieving the public health, food security sustainability and protection for the society against the zoonotic diseases.
