Weqaa Center is continuing its effective participation in King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025; through an integrated system of the technical services and awareness to ensure applying the highest measures of safety. So, the veterinary teams are making every effort to monitor the epidemiological situation with great precision, preparing the veterinary health requirements which organize the entry of falcons into the Kingdom, providing the necessary technical support for the exportation and importation according to the approved international measures. Actually, these efforts are made to ensure safety of the participant falcons in the biggest global gathering of falcons which features an elite of Saudi and international Falconers. The most important roles undertook by Weqaa Center are: awareness and education for the falcons' owners and visitors with the best practices of healthy breeding, methods of the common diseases that affect the safety and efficiency of falcons, enhancing the preventative practices, providing advices of importance of periodic inspection and early diagnosis to ensure the rapid intervention in order to preserve health of birds, illustrating the preventative procedures that are necessary to be followed for breeding and when showing in festivals including: paying attention to sanitation, ventilation, nutrition, commitment to veterinary requirements, technical support for participants, answering their inquires related to public health and epidemiological risk prevention. Absolutely, Weqaa Center aims, through it’s a wide participation, to enhance awareness of health for falconers, activate the sustainable development objectives to preserve the old national heritage of falconry, and protect the animal wealth from the epidemiological diseases in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
