The role of the phytosanitary sector is to ensure that pests and plant diseases of crops are monitored, and good agricultural practices are applied; And the protection of plant wealth and biodiversity from pests through the implementation of all available technical, administrative, technological, legal and logistical measures to ensure the health of plants and plant products, especially those of cultivated plants to advance economic development. Adia, in order to contribute to achieving the Kingdom's goals to reach zero neutrality by the year 2030.

Goals

The goal is to protect plant wealth, direct,        coordinate,  ​    ​monitor, and evaluate control  programs (biological,mechanical, ​chemical, agricultural), and      oversee pest management 
to safeguard agricultural crops from harmful pests while preserving human health and the environment.​
